Richard Belliston

RICHARD BELLISTON
1930-2017

Richard Belliston passed away on February 1, 2017 after a long illness.  He was born December 9, 1930 in Nephi, Utah to Alva Foster and Ethel Ione Tuttle Belliston.  He was raised in Nephi and graduated from Juab High School. He attended Business College in Salt Lake City.  He served an LDS mission to Montana.
He married Ruth Billeter on August 10, 1956 in the Salt Lake Temple.  They made their home in Bountiful.  He worked for Continental Bank as a bank manager.

He is survived by his children, Cyndie (Lynn) Chidester and Kent Belliston; one grandson Michael Chidester; and one brother, John (Roxalene) Belliston.  He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth in August 2015, his parents, two brothers, Melvin and Blaine, three sisters, Norma Kay, Bernice Boswell, and Mildred Sherwood.  He will be buried in Nephi, Utah beside his wife.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Crosspoint Condo Clubhouse, 5406 S. 1300 W. Taylorsville, UT. 84123, with an open house to follow from 6:30-8:00 p.m.   In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association Utah Chapter in Richard’s name.
