RICHARD GEORGE BERRY III
1972-2014
Richard George Berry III was born July 14, 1972 in San Rafael, California. He died suddenly of a heart attack on November 19, 2014. He was the oldest child of Tamara Jane Hughes and Richard George Berry Jr. He grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, which he still called home, even after living in Utah the past five years. Richard married his sweetheart Shannon Yoder; later sealed in the Oakland Temple.
He graduated from Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis in 1990. Some fond memories of his teen years were playing the trombone in the marching band, and Scout summer camp with several beloved leaders. Music was his true love, and he attended many concerts of all the popular bands of the nineties and 2000’s.
Always known and admired as a hard worker and conscientious employee, he had recently joined the GOBE Realty as a realtor. Richard was a stranger to no one, always making friends wherever he went, especially when he encountered fellow Hoosiers.
Survived by his beloved wife, Shannon and three wonderful children Jacob, Abby and Elliott; his loving mother, Tamara Berry of WVC; father Richard G. Berry Jr. of South Carolina; sisters Rachel Howes (Kevin) of WVC, Regan Barnes (Ted) of WVC, Ranell Williamson (Brian) of Sherwood, Oregon and brother Ren Berry (Shelley) of Indianapolis, IN.; 17 nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Richard G. Berry MD and Jane S. Berry, and William R. Lano and Jane Lano Hughes.
