Richard Livingston Blosser II

1963-2021

On Monday, March 22nd, 2021, Richard Livingston Blosser II, affectionate and generous father, son, brother and friend passed away of a heart attack.

Richard was born on a hot, dry and gusty June 27th 1963 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He grew up fast as the oldest of five children.  He was an accomplished Boy Scout and a member of the graduating class of 1981 from Bountiful High School. Richard was well read, educated and highly intelligent. He was always deeply interested in the mysteries of life and fascinated by the sciences and humanities.

Richard loved listening to “good tunes” consisting of great guitar solos and dark synthesizers with the windows rolled down and volume up to the max. Richard loved fast cars and driving fast in any car. Richard was light-hearted, loved a good joke, and playing one on you. Richard loved good food and good times. Richard loved his cats, dogs, hamsters, parrots and ferrets. Above all, Richard loved his family and friends.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Iralyn and father, Robert; as well as his brother, David and uncle, Bob. Richard is survived by his four children Jasmyne, Jennasea, Bransen, and Corey; his granddaughter, Freyalise and soon to be grandson; brothers, Stephen and Michael; and his sister, Janie; nephews Devon, Johnathan, and Samuel; as well as nieces Sarah and Rachel.

A funeral service will be held on Monday March 29th  2021 with a viewing from 9:30-10:30am and a service beginning at 11:00am at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary in Bountiful. Flowers can be sent to Lindquist Mortuary in Bountiful, UT.
