Richard Conrad Erickson "Rick" "Bush" 1955~2009

OGDEN a€" Richard C. Erickson, 54, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009 in Ogden.

Rick was born February 21, 1955 at Wheelus AFB, Tripoli, Libya, the youngest child of Richard Lawrence and Joy Hemmert Erickson. He grew up in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School.

He married Bonnie Stuart and they were later divorced.

Rick was well known for his practical jokes, sense of humor and ability to make people laugh.

Rick was employed for many years at Hill Air Force Base as an aircraft technician.

Surviving is his beloved son, Dylan, 11 years old. They spent many hours laughing, playing, and enjoying being together. Also surviving are his mother Joy, Ogden; his sister Katherine Hutton, Salt Lake City; brother Craig Erickson, Ogden; an aunt and uncle, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 28 at 3 p.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

Family and friends may call at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
