Richard Bryant Evans left this earth suddenly as a result of an aortic dissection on Tuesday, March 23, 2010. Rick was so loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was born October 30, 1967 in Oakland, California. He moved all over the country as a boy, settling with his family in North Ogden, Utah.
Rick graduated in 1985 from Weber High School, where he excelled both academically and on the track team. He also attended Weber State University.
He was currently employed at the IRS in Ogden where he has worked since 1999.
Rick had a quick wit and was a master at the art of subtle humor. He loved to work out and ride his bike. He was an excellent gamer/wingman and could name any episode of Star Trek in 30 seconds. He played the piano, was very intelligent, loved himself a mean cup of coffee, a big piece of pizza, and Fox news. Rick was the very embodiment of still waters running deep.
Rick is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Marilyn Brooks, Washington Terrace; his sister. Jean-Anne Erickson, Eden; his nieces and nephews, Scott, Michelle, Alicia Erickson; and extended family. He is also survived by his oldest and dearest friend, Darren (Amy) Strebel and "That one girl", Christa Huggins and her three boys.
"We love you and miss you son, you were gone from our lives too soon." "We love you and miss you Uncle Rick."
"I love you and you''ll be in my heart always." (CLH)
"You have been, and always shall be, my friend." (DBS)
