Richard H. Fleming

OGDEN a€" Richard Harris Fleming, 87, son of Richard Lysle and Ivy Mae Harris Fleming, died peacefully on Sunday, January 31, 2010 following a brief illness.

Richard was born in Ogden, graduated from Ogden High School and attended Weber State.

He married Cleo Seamons in 1966.

Richard served with the U.S. Army Air Force.

He worked for the U.S. Post Office for 32 years.

Richard was a kind, loving and very generous man. He was also a wonderful father and will be greatly missed by his family.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cleo Fleming; his children, Jeffrey L. Fleming and Vickie E. Wilkins; stepchildren, Jerry L. Godfrey, Cindy S. Godfrey, Ed H. Godfrey; and 14 grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Helen Nicholls and Barbara Azeltine.

His parents, and his daughter, Angela Fleming, preceded Richard in death.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant View Stake Center, 2975 North 1000 West, Pleasant View, with Bishop David Marriott officiating.

Family and friends may visit at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd., on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday at the Stake Center 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery where Military Honors will be accorded.
