Richard Frederiksen

June 4, 1942 — June 2, 2024

Richard H. Frederiksen, 81, passed away peacefully, two days before his 82nd birthday, at his home in Bountiful, UT, on June 2, 2024, after a long battle with interstitial lung disease. He was born on June 4, 1942, in Salt Lake City, UT, to Henri and Irene (Sudweeks) Frederiksen.

Richard married Vicki Lynn Seeley on July 3, 1964, and they were sealed in the Manti LDS Temple on July 3, 1965. Together, they shared 60 wonderful years of marriage, filled with love and cherished memories.

Richard dedicated 42 years of his professional life as a Journeyman Lineman for Utah Power and Light. He also found joy in coaching baseball, basketball, and football, touching many lives with his guidance and passion for the sports. Richard also served his country with honor in the United States Army from 1961 to 1967. Richard and Vicki served five missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.   Richard devoted many, many years doing family history for his Danish ancestors.

Richard was predeceased by his parents, Henri and Irene Frederiksen, his son Danial Richard Frederiksen, and his grandchild Kolton Kelly Frederiksen.
