Rick (Richard) Hillaker

LAYTON - Rick (Richard) Hillaker our beloved father, son, uncle, brother and grandpa passed away, Friday, August 24th, 2012 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Rick was born to Pat and Karen Hillaker on May 23, 1957. Rick was an amazing, loving, caring, wonderful man.

Rick lived in the Layton area most of his life. He worked at Hill Air Force Base for over twenty years as a Machinist. He was extremely skillful and could make or fix just about anything. He did so much for so many people. Rick loved to be outdoors and on the go. Rick had a passion for motorcycles. He owned two Harley Davidson''s and would ride as often as possible. He truly loved his lab, Bella.

Rick was blessed with four beautiful, loving boys: Brad (Natasha) Hillaker (West Wendover, NV), Dan (Brie) Hillaker (Roy, UT), Derek Hillaker (Syracuse, UT) and Terence (LaTisha) Hillaker (Clinton, UT). He is also survived by two brothers, Glen (Pam) Hillaker (Soda Springs, Idaho) and John (Randi) Hillaker (Magna, UT), a sister Shelly (Brett) Hawkins (Sunset, UT), fourteen grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are encouraged to bring their bikes and gear as there will be a last ride.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 31, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
