Richard Earl Johansen

Richard Earl Johansen, 74, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016. He was born to Earl Jay and Olive Bernice Christensen Johansen on January 10, 1942 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. He attended and graduated from Ben Lomond High School and Weber College. He received a masters degree from Utah State University.
He married Patricia Brenchley on August 1, 1963 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They are the parents of three children, Eric (Kori), Ryan (Nicole), and Ashlee (Jared Wolthuis). They have 15 grandchildren.
Richard worked for the Weber County School District as a teacher and administrator. He served in various callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He and his wife served a full-time mission in the Washington D. C. temple and as ushers at the LDS Conference Center.
Richard is survived by his wife, Patricia; their three children and their spouses; their 15 grandchildren; and his sisters, Ruth (Larry Rentmeister) and Pam (Ron Fields). He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Ben Lomond 9th Ward, 575 East 3100 North, North Ogden. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden.
