BOUNTIFUL - Richard Earl Kitchen, 75, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2007 in Bountiful, Utah.

He was born December 5, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of George Wilford and Joyce Anderson Kitchen. Graduated from East High School. He married JoAnn Denning, later divorced. He married Patricia Nebeker September 18, 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Richard and Pat have lived in Bountiful for over 44 years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days Saints. He loved music both singing and playing trumpet, singing in the Ward Choir for 30 years. He was a member of the Sertoma Club. Richard enjoyed bowling, golf and listening to old time radio programs.

He is survived by his wife Pat and seven children; Nancy Farnsworth (Mike), Cathy Kirkpatrick, Sandy Preece (John), Richard ''Rick'' Kitchen (Sherri), David Kitchen (Ann), Kenneth ''Ken'' Kitchen (Cindy), Julie Hansen (Jeff) ; 33 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and sister Jane Lee (Bob). Preceded in death by his parents, brother Glen William Kitchen and two grandsons, Michael Anthony Lopez and Jeremy Austin Farnsworth.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 7, 2007 at the Bountiful 24th Ward Chapel, 720 E. 550 N. Friends may call Friday, July 6th from 6-8 pm at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and Sat. 11:45-12:45 pm at the church prior to services. Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
