Richard H. “Luke” Lucovitz
CLEARFIELD – Richard H. “Luke” Lucovitz, 78, passed away at his home on July 29, 2007.
Born April 9, 1929, in Pittsburgh, PA. Served 8 years in the U.S. Navy and 18 years in the U.S. Air Force. Retired civil service. Married Kathleen G. Yuhas on October 10, 1953 at St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, Sutersville, PA.
He enjoyed gardening and wood working and in healthier times bowling, hunting, fishing, camping and boating.
Survived by wife Kathleen; daughters Kathy A. Browning (Kevin), Susan M. Patrolia (Bill); sons Richard A. and Michael J. (Lori); grandchildren, Keith (Debby) and Ken (Meggin) Browning, Michael and Megan Lucovitz, Kendra and Ricky Lucovitz (Monica, their mother), and Ali and Catey Patrolia; great-grandson, Ryan Browning; brother-in-law Robert Yuhas (Carmella); and his dog, Bo.
Preceded in death by daughter, Mary Kay, parents and brother, John.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2007 at 4 p.m. at Christ Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Hill Air Force Base. Military honors will be accorded at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road following the service.
