Richard Walter Penman

Richard Walter Penman, 84, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016 at his home in Bountiful, Utah.

He was born September 10, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Wallace Arthur and Alice May DeLand Penman.  He married Susan A. Penman August 18, 1956.

Richard served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was co-owner of Penman Brothers Service, and retired from Chevron Oil after 20 years of service. He was a member of the LDS Church.  He enjoyed fishing, bowling, traveling with his wife and loved spending time with family.

He is survived by his sons David R. Penman (Sheila), Mark R. Penman (Lori); daughter Barbara Taylor (Alan); eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Susan, and brothers.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may visit family Fri. Mar. 25th from 6-8pm and Sat. 12:45-1:45 pm prior to services at the mortuary. Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
