Richard Albert Ramos Colunga

August 2, 1946 — April 13, 2024

Richard Albert Ramos Colunga passed into Glory in the early morning hours on Saturday the 13th of April after battling Cancer. He was 77 years old.   

 

Richard retired from Williams International after a thirty year career. He served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam conflict.   

 

Richard enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved to ride his bicycle, ski, play Frisbee, and was a master at playing Hacky Sack. He loved to run and walk with his dog Rufus daily. 

 

Richard is survived by his wife Norine,  three sons, Richard Jr. (Tina), John, and Bruce, three grandchildren, Ammon, Aubrey and Aurora, four brothers and three sisters. 

 

He was preceded in death by his mother and two brothers. 

 

Richard was a Christian. He loved God and all of his church family at Calvary Christian Church. 

 

Graveside services will be held Saturday April 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.  A viewing for friends and family will be held Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.
