Richard Keith Reeve, 75, died peacefully in his sleep, Saturday, March 1, 2008, of natural causes.
He was born September 14, 1932 in Seattle, Washington, to Albert E. and Florence Wilson Reeve.
He married and later divorced Carroll Smith in Salina, KS. On October 1, 1971, Richard married his eternal companion, Thelma Brewer, in Sunset, Utah.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He filled a mission at the Ogden Cannery. His greatest joy was serving as an ordinance worker at the Ogden Temple for the past seven years.
Following his retirement from the U.S. Air Force, Richard worked for 17 years at the Internal Revenue Service.
He never did anything half way, but always put his whole heart into everything he did.
Richard is survived by his wife, Thelma, Roy; two sons, Albert (Linda) Reeve, and Richard (Lori) Reeve, two grandchildren and a great-grandson, all of Kansas; three nieces and a nephew of Washington; step-children, Cathy Manning, Clearfield; M. Corrie (James) Martinez, Roy; Edward Allen (Chris) Brewer, Thatcher; Linda Kaye (Charles) Garcia, Aurora, CO; and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Virginia Dorris, a daughter, Carol Ann Reeve Marihugh, a granddaughter, Jacque Reeve and a step-daughter, Karen Brewer Child.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 6th at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
Friends and family may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 N. Fairfield Road.
