Richard C. Schulze
CLEARFIELD - Richard C. Schulze, loving father, husband, brother and grandfather passed away Monday, November 28, 2011.
Born April 10, 1935 in Salt Lake City to loving parents Wilford and Edna Schulze. He served his country proudly for twenty years in the United States Air Force, after retiring from the Air Force he continued to work for the government as a civilian employee for several years at Hill Air Force Base. He retired from Hill in 1997.
He married Yuki in Tokyo, Japan, December 9, 1957 and had two children. She preceded him in death on August 2, 1998.
Richard then married Carol in Clearfield, Utah on April 1, 2003. He is survived by his wife Carol, two children, June S. Hogan (Brian) of Blackfoot, Idaho; David J. Schulze (Debi) of San Antonio, Texas; five step-children, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one more on his way, sisters, Patricia Spencer and Janice Gammel (Bary).
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Yuki and brother David L. Schulze.
Richard had a great laugh and sense of humor and always had a joke to be told, he also loved cowboy poetry. He touched many peoples'' lives and will be always remembered.
The family would like to express their thanks to those that cared for Richard and to the special friends that were always there for him.
As requested by Richard there will be no services, just remember him with the next joke you hear and have a great laugh on him.
