Richard "Rick" Thomas

VERNAL-Richard Vernerd Thomas "Rick" passed away at his home in Vernal, Utah on Thursday, July 19th, 2012 at the age of 54.

Rick was loved by his family and is predeceased by his father, Thomas V. Thomas, and is survived by his mother, Shirlene, and his brothers Tom, Brent, Stephen, and Kevin. He leaves behind six children; Scott, Jodi, Stephen, Jeff, John, and Stephanie, two daughters-in-law; Stefanie and Jori, and two grandchildren; Caden and Kali.

Rick had a unique sense of humor, a likeable personality, and a passion for medicine and serving his patients to the best of his abilities. He enjoyed sports, watching old Seinfeld episodes, and anything involving his children. He will be remembered most as someone who always kept his children close to his heart.

Funeral services will be held at the Pleasant Valley 3rd Ward building, 5640 South 850 East, South Ogden on Wednesday, July 25 at 11:00 a.m. Family will meet with friends that morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd.
