Rick Kobus

Rick Aaron Kobus, 22, was tragically taken from family, friends and loved ones on Wednesday, May 23, 2007. His death was a result of injuries sustained from a motorcycle/auto accident.

He was born in Dallas, Texas on May 12, 1985, the son of Jeannette M. Kobus. Rick and the Kobus family were long time residents of Utah, having lived in Ogden and Syracuse. Rick attended Dee Elementary, Syracuse Middle School and Clearfield High School. He was a member of the Pain Squad Car Club and the Gimp Racing Stunt Team.

Rick will be greatly missed by his mother, brothers, other family and all those who had the opportunity to spend time with him. His smile, gentle and easy nature were just two of his positive traits. Rick loved cars, motorcycles, music and pretty girls. He was a loyal friend, loving son, dependable employee and an incredible young man. His life and light have passed, leaving heavy hearts behind.

Survivors include his mother, Jeannete Kobus; brothers John and Dillon; sister-in-law Tessa and nieces Jordyn and Madelyn; Aunt Donna and Uncle Jack, Uncle Joe and Connie; cousins Danny (Lisa) and cousin Tracy, Rick''s Godmother

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S. Friends and family may visit from 12:30 to 1:45 at the mortuary.
