Rickey Eugene Pace

November 14, 1959 ~ April 29, 2014

Our wonderful father, husband, son, and grandfather Rickey Eugene Pace "Pop" passed away on April 29th, 2014.  He was born November 14th, 1959 in Fairfield, California to Philip Wayne Pace and Norma Jean Turner.

Rick was a hardworking man with an armored exterior but with a soft soul.  He'd rescue you from any blizzard you got stuck in, fix any flat tire (or 2) on the side of the freeway, and still have time to cook up a pot of chili.  But it was usually him that needed to be rescued from blizzards and flat tires.  Rick loved playing 9 holes of golf with friends and family.  He was a very talented handyman, often unknowingly volunteering for his wife's numerous house projects.  He made their house a home: A place to gather his family and enjoy time together.  He was a rock to his family.  We were blessed to have him in our lives and he will be dearly missed.

Rick Pace was preceded in death by his father Philip Wayne Pace, his stepfather John Turner, and his favorite uncle and aunt, Mr.& Mrs.Tom Pace.  He is survived by his wife Dena Pace; his sons Rickey (James) Pace, Ryan (Stefanie) Pace, Zach (Britnee) Stoneking, and his daughters Ginger (Todd) Howey and Ashley Shassetz.  He is also survived by his brother Tony, his sister Jannice, and 12 grandchildren called him "Pop."

Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary.
