Ricky Hansen, 58, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born July 26, 1957 in Ogden, Utah to Darrell Elwood and Annette Hillier Hansen. After graduation from Roy High School he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in accounting. He has lived in Utah, Florida and California.

On September 27, 1975, Rick married Sharon Lee Ostler in the Ogden Utah LDS Temple.

He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he served in many callings.

Rick was employed as an IT Manager for AG Reserves, Inc. He was Charter President of the Clinton Kiwanis.

He enjoyed building, gardening, cooking and painting. He loved spending time with his family.

Rick is survived by his wife, Sharon; their children, Ricky Shane (Debra), Mark J. (Emily), Douglas Wayne (Brittani), Mandi Lee (Robbie) Brown, Angela Rae (Justin) Hunter, 15 grandchildren, his parents, Darrell and Annette, and his siblings, Randy, Lon and Jackie. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Brayden Hunter.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 16, 2015 at the Hooper 1st Ward Chapel, 5601 South 6100 West. The family will meet with friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Hooper Cemetery.
