PLEASANT VIEW a€" Rita Ann Critchlow left her tired body on Tuesday, October 20, 2009, and went to a joyous reunion with her mother, Pokey, brother, Eddie, and her Heavenly Father.

She was born August 18, 1928 in Alturas, California, to Bruce and Myrtle Slate Cranor. When she was very young, her mother returned to Utah and Rita and her brother grew up on Gramp Slate''s farm in Kanesville, where she attended Weber High School.

Rita worked hard to raise her five children. She worked on the farms in Plain City and peeled tomatoes at Del Monte Packing. She was a nurse''s aid at the Utah State TB Hospital and later retired from the Internal Revenue Service. In 1964, Rita married Allen Lucian Critchlow and he helped her finish raising her children. Allen even adopted the family dog, Duchess. Rita loved her family and always looked forward to birthdays and family get-togethers.

Surviving are her loving husband, Allen, of Pleasant View; children, Christie (Lyle) Johnston, Ronald Ableman, Greg "Abe" (Vickie) Ableman, Michael (Karon) Cragun, and Kay Salyer; 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Her parents, her brother, Edwin Cranor, and a grandson, Blake Dee Mastronardi, preceded her in death.

Rita and her family wish to express a special thank you to the kind people at Inspiration Hospice. Bless you Marg and Melissa.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd.

Friends may call at the mortuary on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
