CLEARFIELD a€" Robert Graham Allred, 72, enjoyed a beautiful reunion with his wife Sheryl as he departed this life on Thursday, January 24, 2008. He suffered from a pulmonary embolism, which led to his death.

In the few weeks since Sheryl''s passing on December 31, 2007, Robert would tell all who called with condolences that he had 25 years of Heaven on Earth. Little did he know he would soon see much more of Heaven.

Robert was born on September 23, 1935 as the fourth of seven children born to Floyd and Marcella Allred in Lovell, Wyoming where he spent his childhood. He reflected fondly of his hometown of Lovell and loved to take road trips "back home." Robert married Judith Stevens on September 29, 1956 in Billings, Montana. They had four children: Pamela Jo, DeAnne, Sheri, and Steven. They later divorced. Robert married Suzanne Boomer on March 27, 1973 in Clearfield, Utah. They also had four children: Scott, Kara, Tamera and Pamela Sue. They later divorced. Robert married Sheryl Smedley Allred on October 29, 1982 in the Jordan River Temple. Sheryl also had six children: Doug, Kent, Glen, David, Debby and Mike. In 1985 they were blessed with one more child, Shane.

Robert loved his family dearly and ached for those with whom he did not get as much time. He was a wonderful and loving grandfather. He loved to tease and play with his grandchildren. Robert also loved his neighbors. Perhaps his greatest trait was his willingness to do all he could to serve those around him. He never saw it as any big thing and he never made a production of it. He just wanted to help.

Robert was a member of the Clearfield 7th Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In addition to his unofficial ward job as "the Tic-Tac Man" handing out candy to all of the children at the end of each week''s meetings, he served officially in many capacities. His callings included service in the bishopric, stake high council, stake mission presidency, Sunday school presidency, and Ogden Cannery Mission President. He loved all of his opportunities to serve but was especially happy to have had the opportunity to serve as a missionary at the cannery with his wife.

Robert is survived by his sisters Arletta and Dorothy, his sons Shane, Michael, Steven and Scott his daughters Pamela Jo, DeAnne, Sheri, Kara, Tamera, and Pamela and his step-children Doug, Kent, Glen, David and Debby. He is also survived by 43 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous other friends and loved ones.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Paula and Ray, sisters Arvella and Ruth and his wife Sheryl.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Clearfield 7th Ward, 231 E. 300 No. Friends and family may call Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
