Robert V. Bauman
PERRY – Robert Vincent Bauman, 76, died Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at his home.
He was born April 6, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois, a son of Robert and Anna Mazzaro Bauman.
On June 3, 1960, Robert married Carilyn M. Bauman in Las Vegas, Nevada. They later divorced but remained good friends. She died October 30, 2006. He married Colleen Stauffer and they were later divorced.
He lived in Chicago, Illinois, Ogden, Utah, Preston, Idaho and in Perry, Utah.
He served his country with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
Robert was an explosive safety officer for Hill Air Force Base.
He was a member of the Ogden Jaycees and the Northern Utah Radio Controlled Aircraft Club. He enjoyed photography and remote control model airplanes.
Surviving are one son and one daughter, Steven (Megan)Anthony Bauman, Perry; Sue Waller, Chicago, IL; two stepdaughters, Dianne Murray, Roy; Barbara (Greg Keblis) Hanson, Perry; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three stepbrothers, Jerry Bowman, John Bowman and William Bowman.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Cremation under the direction of Lindquist’s Crematory.
