Robert Kay Beveridge

Robert Kay Beveridge was taken from us suddenly and passed away peacefully late Monday, April 14, 2014, at the hospital from cardiac arrest.

"Rowdy," age 54, was born October 10, 1959 to Robert Miller and Joyce Keele Beveridge.  He grew up in Hooper, Utah.

He married Kathy Carter Beveridge in February 1980 in the Salt Lake Temple. He and Kathy have eight beautiful children, Chalen, Beau, Zac, Lora, Molly, Brooke, Julie, and Ben. His wish for his children is that they work well, play hard, keep their testimonies in the gospel strong, and to remember the good things their mother taught them. Rob and Kathy also have 11 darling grandchildren whom he cherished. Robert worked diligently to support and nurture his family.

Rowdy was a handyman who could tear apart anything and put most things back together. He used these talents to serve others. Robert lived and breathed the game of soccer. He spent countless hours coaching and mentoring his team. His wish for his team is that they remember the skills he taught them and play a great game of soccer in his memory.

He is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, mother, sisters, and in-law family members.

His last act of service on this Earth was to donate his body to the University of Utah.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Valley View Ward, 2475 No. Valley View Drive, Layton.  Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
