Robert “Bob” Finder was born August 9, 1946, in Lynwood, California, to Jack and Peggy Finder. Bob passed away peacefully at home April 24, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Bob and Pamela Herrmann were married July 14, 1978, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
He was a kind loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who always opened up his home and made you feel welcome at any time.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman, skier, professional pheasant guide and had a love for horses.
Bob retired after 30 years of service from Ogden City Fire Department working as a Fireman and Fire Captain. He also was employed at Powder Mountain Ski Resort as Ski Pro Patrol. During his service with Ogden City Fire Department and Powder Mountain he made many longtime friends.
Bob is survived by his wife, Pamela Finder; children, Steve (Cheryl) Finder, Christy (John) Koogler, and Tracy Bench; sister, Karen Longfellow; sisters-in-law, Shelly Finder, Diana (Jerry) Checketts, and Gail (Scott) Boyd; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Finder; and brother-in-law, Arty Longfellow.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations to be made to a charity of your choice in the memory of Robert Finder.
