Robert Wayne Bottom

Robert Wayne Bottom, 29, returned to his Heavenly Father on August 18, 2013. He was born on November 18, 1983, to Robert Ernest Bottom, Jr. and Julie Ann Hooker.

Robert Wayne married his true love, Kandace Grubb, on June 29, 2013.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

"Wayne-O", as he was affectionately called by his family, was thoughtful, kind and very loving. He was very family oriented and loved spending time with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He enjoyed extreme sports and taking risks. When he was a young child he would bounce down his Grandma Dixie''s stairs on his stomach, laughing all the way. He was the terror of the neighborhood on his "big wheel" tricycle.

He was a gifted artist and loved to draw and create things with his hands. His work experience included painting, in which he excelled. He particularly enjoyed painting new construction. He had recently studied general maintenance and delighted in learning various types of repair work.

Robert Wayne is survived by his wife, Kandace; father, Rob; stepfather, Fred Sanchez; mother-in-law, Charlotte Grubb and father-in-law, John M. (Judith) Grubb; grandparents, Thomas W. and Elma Hooker, Dixie H. (Harold) Finch, Robert and Cheryl Bottom, and great-grandpa, Bob Harris; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Julie Ann Sanchez; aunt, Jenny Hooker, great-grandparents, Faye W. Harris, Elmer and Helen Vanwasshenova, and Jesse and Irene Hooker.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 11 a.m. Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Aultorest Memorial Park.
