Robert “Bob” W. Boyle
SOUTH OGDEN – Robert “Bob” Wayne Boyle, 64, died Sunday, August 16, 2009 at his home.
He was born May 29, 1945 in Ogden, a son of Wayne W. and Burma Heap Boyle. He attended and graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Bob was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He worked at Bob’s European Auto for many years as an auto mechanic. Bob loved cars, repairing and restoring cars, trucks and jeeps. He was a trail leader at numerous Moab Jeap Safaris. He loved to show his 1923 Ford T-Bucket Roadster at car shows. Along with his cars, he loved to hunt deer and antelope. Bob loved to make the statement “I am Utah’s oldest living teenager!”.
Surviving are his son and his fiancé, Spencer Robert Boyle and Britni Crain; grandsons, Skylar Robert Boyle, Dakota James Boyle and Grayson Michael Boyle, all of Texas.
Also surviving are one brother, David Boyle, Ogden; and one sister, Kathy Roubidoux, Hamilton, MT.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4508 Washington Blvd.
