KAYSVILLE a€" Robert (Bob) Ellis Brown, 87, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2009

Bob was born October 7, 1921 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Cecil Ernest and Elizabeth Brown.

He graduated from South High School in 1939. On March 30, 1942, Bob married the love of his life Carma Brown in Logan, Utah. Together they embarked on a life of adventure that took them to various places in Utah and the west, finally settling in Kaysville, Utah in 1959.

Bob was extremely active in the Eagles Lodge, holding many positions at the state and local levels of the men''s auxiliary and serving as state president for many years. He served in World War II in Alaska.

Bob worked for over 30 years for Associated Food Stores. He enjoyed camping and fishing outings but mostly parties with his family.

Bob is survived by sons Robert E. Brown Jr. (Diane), Brent D. Brown (Suzy), Gregory K. Brown (Susan), and Jeffrey K. Brown (Traci). He is also survived by his sisters Betty Jane Baird, Berdella Keele, Barbara Bowers (Jack), Karen Neilson (Darel), sister-in-law Carma Brown, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Carma Brown, son Kent C. Brown and brother Cecil D. Brown

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Friends and family may call Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery where military honors will be accorded.
