Robert Leonard Burton

Robert Leonard Burton, 78, of Florida, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011 in Huntington Beach, California. He was born June 6, 1933 in Ogden, Utah to Leonard Flinders and Leomia Virginia Lynch Burton.

He grew up in Ogden. He married Joy Hunter and they were later divorced. He married Sandra Hawkes and they were later divorced. He worked for the Air Force and the Army. Robert loved to travel.

Robert is survived by his daughters, Stephanie (Dean) Cooper, California; Annette Oldfield, Pleasant View; and Dorthy Ann Lutz, Atwater, California; brother David (Cherie) Burton, Plain City; sister Jan (Tommie) Matthews, Fruit Heights, and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Kenneth.

A Memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 6 p.m. at Ogden City Cemetery. Services entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
