Robert Owen Caress

Robert Owen Caress returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, 23 August 2009.

He was born 14 March 1939 in Soda Springs, Idaho to Clyde and Ethel Caress.

On 28 March 1958, Bob married his high school sweetheart, Mary Childs, in the Logan LDS Temple. Together they served in the LDS Utah, Ogden mission.

He was an excellent carpenter and a strong and hard working man. Bob was a general merchandiser for Associated Foods, retiring in 1994.

Surviving are his wife, the love of his life, Mary; their children, Pamela (John) Stofferahn, Harrisville; Karrie (Jon) Langston, West Haven; Ada (Alan) Carlson, West Haven; nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty (Roger) Moore, Soda Springs, ID.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 26 August at 11 a.m. at the Kanesville Stake Center, 4555 West 4000 South, West Haven.

Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and on Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 at the Stake Center.

Interment, Fairview Cemetery, Soda Springs, ID at 4:00 p.m.
