Robert Charles Cox
Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend passed away peacefully on Friday Dec. 31 2021.
Robert Charles Cox was born at home in Shelley, Idaho to Earnest and Lorna Cox on March 18 1934. He graduated high school from Star Valley High, Wyoming in 1952. After high school he joined the Air Force until 1957. After discharge he served an LDS mission to Montana, Wyoming, and South Dakota. He attended Utah State University, then transferred to Weber State where he graduated in 1970. He built a career at Hill Air Force Base as an electric technician, and later as a computer programmer.
He married Louise E. Marriott on Dec. 22 1961 in the Logan, UT Temple. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary just days before his passing. They had 4 children, Denise (decd. 2017) (Chris) Jepson, Ronald, Kristine (Dean) Steinicke, and Teresa (Ron) Blair.
He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints his whole life. He loved the church and his ward members. He enjoyed fishing, genealogy, astronomy, and camping, but most of all he cherished spending time with family and looked forward each year to the Jensen family reunion in Island Park, Idaho.
He will be greatly missed but we are comforted knowing he is reunited with his parents, siblings, daughter, and other loved ones who have gone before.
Love-A-Love-A-Love-A You!!
