Robert Lee DeHerrera age 72, passed away on June 6, 2024, in Roy, Utah. He was born December 23, 1951 in Ogden, Utah to Celedonio And Celia DeHerrera.
Robert worked as a machinist for Hercules, Inc.
He was a member of the Catholic Church.
A true patriot, Robert served in the Army during the Vietnam War as part of the Infantry. His bravery and service to his country will always be remembered.
In his leisure time, Robert found joy in simple pleasures such as camping, hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed moments spent with his family during gatherings filled with love and laughter.
He loved his dog Amigo, they went everywhere together. Amigo was his best friend and little buddy
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Celedonia and Celia DeHerrera, and his brother Steve (Pat) DeHerrera. He is survived by his sister Nancy Payne, brother Joe DeHerrera, sister Gloria (Doug) Terry.
The family would like to give thanks to all of Robert's caregivers at the Salt Lake VA and to Shannon at Atlas Home Health and Hospice.
Graveside services will be held Monday June 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist's Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah. Friends and family may visit Monday prior to the graveside from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. in Layton.
