Robert “Bob” Steven DiMarco sustained injuries in an accident September 9, 2013 and later passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013 surrounded by his family and friends.
He was born June 9, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio to Benedict and Eugenia Ignatieff DiMarco. He grew up in San Francisco Bay area. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired from HAFB after 35 years. He was employed at Walmart as an assembler. He was an amazing man, who was loved by many and will be truly missed.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Rene' DiMarco; five children, Michael (Melissa) DiMarco, Tina (Jason) Hall, Kimberly DiMarco, Ondelyn (Blake) Mills and Myranda (Troy) Barrow; brother, Richard (Kathie) DiMarco and many foster children, nieces, nephews, and 13 wonderful grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents and first wife, Carla Fontenot DiMarco.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. at
Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. Friends may visit with family on
Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, West Haven City Cemetery.
