Robert Peter Genovesi, Jr. passed away July 7, 2018. He was born March 4, 1961 in Providence, Rhode Island, the son of Robert Peter Genovesi Sr. and Carolyn Struhs.

Bobby is survived by his children: Vincent, Timothy (Brandi), and Ariel (Alec); his siblings: Lisa, Michael (Renee), and Paul (Gwen); and his niece and nephews: Kevin, Christopher, Shara, Michael, Clayton, Gabriel, and Devin.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Struhs Jones.

Bobby found his greatest purpose in fatherhood. He loved his children fiercely and made countless sacrifices to protect and care for them. He also took great pride in his work with computers and programming, for which he was self-taught. He was a highly talented individual, adept at any interest he took, including guitar, woodworking, fishing, and making jewelry. He was loved more than he realized, and he will be missed dearly.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary - 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
