Robert L. Hamilton “Bob”
SYRACUSE – Robert Leland Hamilton, 66, passed away on January 6, 2015 at home after a long illness.
He was born March 21, 1948 to Robert Ellsworth and Phyllis Ilene Nelson Hamilton in Ukiah, California.
He served his country in the U.S. Air Force as a ground crew in Vietnam and as a Chief Scheduler for 20 years. He worked for DCMA as a Contract Administrator.
He lived in Utah from 1980 to present, where he met and married Pam Hunsaker.
Bob was a great jokester with a very wry sense of humor. He was a very loving husband, father and friend. He enjoyed shopping, all new technology and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Bob was always willing to help others and loved giving gifts to family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Pam, three children, Robert Shane (Carlie) Hamilton, Riverton; Tadd Kim (Scotty) Bunderson, Layton; Stacy Norine (Tige) McDowell, Clearfield; seven grandchildren and a brother William (Josie) Hamilton, Mesa, AZ.
Preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Graveside services will be held Friday, January 9, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
