Robert (Bob) Henning Hansen

Robert (Bob) Henning Hansen died Thursday, April 17, 2014 at his home from cancer.  He was born July 11, 1950 to Henning Hartman and M Ruth Powell Hansen, in Racine, WI.  He had a long happy life growing up.  He is a covert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he has served in many callings and is a High Priest.

He married Susan they had four children Matthew, Luke, Melissa, and Donnelle, they were later divorced.

He lived in Utah most of his adult years.  He married the love of his life Betsy Cardwell in 1994.

Survived by his wife Betsy, sisters, Donna (Gill) Sweesy, Linda (Pat) Galligan, son, Matthew Hansen, step-children, Larry Turner Jr., Elizabeth (Eric) Erickson, grandchildren, Xavier, Christian, Andrew, Nathan, Brantley and numerous other relatives.

Preceded in death by parents and step-daughter, Marie Turner.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family on Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

The family would like to thank Brooke Cornia for her loving care for the last two years.

Family suggests donations be made to the family to off-set expenses.
