CLEARFIELD a€" Robert DeMoise Higgs, 74, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011.

He was born February 15, 1937 in Kaysville, Utah the son of Christopher Moses and Florence Ann Hardman Higgs.

Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Robert married Barbara Neville, the love of his life for eternity on August 23, 1958 in Layton, Utah.

He was a member of the Clearfield 10th Ward.

Robert was a Jack of all trades master of none.

Surviving are his wife Barbara, son Rob (Amy) Higgs, Roy; four daughters, Connie (Nolan) Johnson, West Valley; Donna (Kirby) Miller, Clearfield; Lori (Bill) Harrison, Layton; Barbara (Don) Smuin, Clinton; 34 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, six brothers, William, Dell, Jay, Allen, Jerry, Eugene and three sisters, Jane, Alice and Bessie.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother Arvel and two sisters, Bertha and Annie.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Clearfield 10th Ward, 350 No. Vine Street. Friends may visit family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State Street and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

In lieu of flowers family suggest donations be made at any Goldenwest Credit Union in Barbara Higg''s name.
