Robert A. Holmes

Robert A.  Holmes, 64, passed away on December 4, 2015. He was born on April 14, 1954 to C. Dean and Alvina Maser Holmes in Ogden.

Robert married the love of his life, Sandra Walker, on June 5, 1970. Together they had three children. He loved quality time surrounded by his family. His favorite hobbies were fishing, camping, and hunting. He spent a lot of time at the family cabin up in Causey Estates. Robert would ride his Harley all over the Western States with his sweet wife.

Robert was the owner of the San Terra Drywall Company. He experienced all the up’s and down’s, but he fought through it with the support of his dedicated employees. Robert thought of his employees as family.

Robert is survived by his wife, Sandra Holmes; son, Trenton Holmes; daughters, Jennifer Rich and Danielle Holmes; brother, Larry Holmes; sisters, Karen Groberg and Diana Whiting; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren with one on the way.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, C. Dean and Alvina Holmes.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may gather with the family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
