– Robert Michael Diarte, II, our loving husband, father, son and brother was taken to his heavenly home were our Lord and most beloved Mother Mary received him with loving arms on Friday, March 4, 2011.
Robert was born May 5, 1976 in Ogden, Utah. He was the most giving, loving person that God put on this earth. His most precious of gifts are his children, Aliya, Michael and Daxton. His love for them is immeasurable. Robert was raised and educated in Roy, graduating from Roy High School and ITT Technical College.
He married his beautiful wife, Felicia on February 21, 2006. She was the love of his life.
Robert worked for Fresenius for 14 years. He loved his work and his friends, who are an extension of his family.
He loved being with his children. He loved his music, cars and electronics. He loved family gatherings and he was our cameraman.
Robert’s most loving heart has continued through death. He donated his organs to help those most in need.
Surviving are his wife, Felicia, two sons, Robert Michael III, Daxton, a daughter, Aliya, all of North Ogden; his parents, Buzz and Yolanda Nietert, Eden; his grandmothers, Jennie “GG” Montoya, Clearfield; Molly Diarte, Roy; brother, Sky Nietert, Eden; and two sisters, Chasity Smith and Geanna Diarte. Also surviving are Robert Michael Diarte I, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
His previous wife, Sarina, and mother of their daughter, Aliya, also survives and remained a good friend.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Steve Montoya and Harry Diarte, and grandparents, Loren and Shirley Nietert.
Robert’s faith and his love for our Lord will be the example his children will remember to guide them through their lives. We will miss your beautiful smile and generous heart. Knowing we will see you again sustains us. Love you.
Funeral Mass will be held Friday, March 11th at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven.
The family will meet with friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South, with Holy Rosary service at 7 p.m.
Interment, Clearfield Cemetery, 1050 S. State Street.
