Robert "Bobby" Wesley Gideon III
Layton-Bobby Gideon, 30, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011 due to a pulmonary embolism.
He was born on July 19, 1981 in Ogden, Utah to Robert W. Gideon Jr. and Joan B. Corry.
Bobby had a passion for cars, especially Cadillacs, and was employed as an auto detailer.
He was also very accomplished in the martial arts holding black belts in multiple disciplines and
competed on a national level. He had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh. But
most of all he loved his family and friends. He was always there to comfort, support,
and protect us. He had a special place in his heart for his niece and nephews, and they each have a
special place in their hearts for him.
He is survived by his mother, stepfather Don Corry, sister Belinda "Bindy" (Eric) Flores, brothers, Brandon Orton, Nate (Kenzie) Lower, Darien Gideon, one niece Kayla and his nephews Gage, Gabriel, Daunavon, and Takomah, and his canine companion Bella. We all love you Bobby and will miss you until we’re together again.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents: Merle and Eugene Blevins, and Robert
and Arlene Gideon.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 17, 2011 at Lindquist's Layton
Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to
services at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Darien in memory of Bobby at the memorial service.
