Robert “Bob” Roland Jones Robert “Bob” Roland Jones, 87, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2011. He was born on September 12, 1924 to Willis Elbert and Corinne Marie Etherington Jones. He lived in the Ogden area all of his life. Bob was a member of the Roy Elks. He loved golfing, hunting, and fishing. He is survived by his wife Ora Mae Woods Jones, Farr West; son Garrel Lee (Kathleen Davis) Jones, Twin Falls, Idaho; daughter, Karen Sue Jones Whittier, Ogden; 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Richard Willis Jones, sisters, Geraldine Anne Jones Pierson and Doris Jones, and one granddaughter. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to your favorite charity in Bob’s name.
