Robert LaMarr Krumperman passed away in his sleep in the early morning of Monday, February 1, 2016.
He was born on October 6, 1924 to Una Ogden and Leslie Krumperman.
He attended Ogden High School, and then joined the U.S. Army to fight in the Pacific Theater of WWII. After his discharge, he married May Wells. They had a daughter Judy Morris and two grand-children, Ken and Kim Fowler. They were later divorced.
Bob married Margie Hacker. They had three children, Linda, Ann and Michael and one grandchild, Kendra. The family had many fun adventures camping, fishing and traveling. Margie passed away in 1985.
Bob later married Adele Walton. Through Adele and her daughter Pat, Bob became Grandpa to three generations of grandchildren. He loved children and took great joy in the time he spent with them.
Bob is survived by his daughters, Linda and Ann Krumperman. He also had a special relationship with his niece, Kathy Humphreys who was like a daughter to him.
Bob was member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union for over 65 years. He retired from pipe fitting in 1985. He belonged to several organizations through the years, including the Moose Lodge, the Eagles, the American Legion and the VFW.
The family would like to thank Access Home Care and Hospice for their loving care and friendship over the years. A special thanks to Angel, Allan, Lisa and Shelby. We would also like to thank all those at Lotus Park Assisted Living for their care, support, friendship and love.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S. Friends may visit family, Friday Feb. 5th from 6-8 pm and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 am at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
