Robert "Robin" Lawson

Robert (Robin) Stanford Lawson II from Centerville, Utah passed away April 7, 2022 at the age of 76 of cancer.  

Robin was born December 25, 1945 to Bob and Betty Lou Lawson.  He grew up in Bountiful, Utah and graduated from Bountiful High School in 1964.  Robin married Darlyne Hayes and was married just shy of 58 years.  Their children are Troy, Arrin (Sharisse), and Baric (Andrea).  Their grandchildren are Chris, Josh, Justin, Devin, Alyssa, Dalton, Shalee, Megan, Dustin, Ryder, and Sophie.  They have 6 great grandchildren.

Robin was a machinist and worked into his 70's.  He loved his family and friends.  He loved people and would strike up a conversation with anyone.  Some of his most enjoyable times were deer hunting with his boys and friends.  He enjoyed mowing his lawn.  His favorite times at home were spent watching TV and eating.

Robin would help anyone in need.  He was awarded a 10 gallon pin for blood donations.  Robin always greeted you with a smile and acted truly happy to see you.  There are so many memories and favorite stories to hold near to the heart.

Robin was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lawson, his sister Lisa, father and mother-in-law Darwin and Beth Hayes, brothers-in-law Denny Edwards and Terry Hayes.  He is survived by his wife Darlyne, sons Troy, Arrin, and Baric, mother Betty Lou, sisters Katy Edwards and Denise Bennett, sister-in-law Pam Hayes, and brothers-in-law Brent Hayes (Laurie) and Chuck Goode, and his eleven grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, April 15, 2022 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may visit family from 12:45-1:45pm prior to services

Inurnment Bountiful City Cemetery.
