Robert J. Leavitt passed away on December 20, 2024. Bob was born on March 29, 1942, in Ogden, Utah to Wayne and Myrtle Leavitt. He grew up in Roy, Utah. He graduated from Bonneville High School. He met the love of his life (his wife wrote this), Norleen Green, while they were working together at Hill AFB. They were sealed in the Ogden Utah Temple. They were very happy together and loved and supported each other (Bob said he agreed to this too.)
He retired from Hill AFB with 29 years of service. He then opened his computer business, helping friends and neighbors. The best of all is when he became a Davis County school bus driver. He said that was the best job of all. He also enjoyed working in his wood shop building things with his son.
He enjoyed his membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a greeter for 30 years and he said that is the most important job; he enjoyed greeting and making new friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Ron (Colleen) Leavitt.
He is survived by his wife and children; Robert, Shelly , Mike (Tresta) Leavitt and many grandchildren.
