Robert E. Losik
WEST POINT- Robert E. Losik died unexpectedly at home on August 23, 2012. He was born on July 10, 1946 in Sharon, PA where he was raised until joining the Air Force at 18 years old. He served 4 years active duty then continued on reserve duty while working as a lineman for Seattle City Light for over 25 years.
Robert was married in 1968 to Cherie Goedel. They were married 18 years and had 6 children. He was remarried in 1987 to Rhonda Alber who remained his devoted partner. They moved to West Point after he retired where they built their dream home. They had just celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this month. He leaves behind his wife and 6 children – Roberta (Scott), Jennifer, Aaron (Desiree), Joe (Vanesa), Amanda (Lance) and Mike (Jill). He also leaves behind 28 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters – Bonnie and Kathy (Keith).
Robert loved to golf and work in the yard, which he always kept beautiful. He was active in his church and loved to serve at the temple. Most of all he loved his family, and would drop everything to spend time with his children and grandchildren. There are no words to express how deeply he will be missed.
