Robert Lamar Miller, Jr.

Robert Lamar Miller, Jr., 54, passed away at this home on August 11, 2024 in Layton, Utah. He was born December 19, 1969 in Salt Lake City to Robert Sr. and Beverly Donaldson Miller. He lived in California and Utah.

 He married Rachel Mary Schilling on August 8, 2008 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

 Robert enjoyed golfing, competition shooting and playing video games.

 He was very loved and we miss him so much. Our hearts are broken and are trying to come to terms with his loss. We know he is the in the arms of our lord and savior and that comforts us .Rest in peace our sweet Robert, we love you.

 Robert is survived by his sisters; Robyn (Bruce) Moore, DeEtte (Butch) Mclachlan, wife, Rachel Miller, his kids; Hanna Ibrahim, Noah Ibrahim, and Amirah Part.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; Robert and Beverly Miller, his sister, Lynette Sopko, brother Rhett (Vanita) Miller.

 Graveside services will Monday August 19, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery, 3115 E. 7800 S., Cottonwood Heights, Utah. Family and friends may visit Monday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah.

 We would like to thank Lindquist Mortuary for all their hard work and kindness. They did an amazing job in working with us especially Josh McMillan, he went above and beyond to help us. We would also thank Memorial Mountain View Cemetery, they were very caring.
