Robert Craig Mumford
April 25, 1975 ~ July 11, 2019
Robert Craig Mumford passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 11, 2019 due to complications from cancer.
He was born on April 25, 1975 in Logan, Utah to Kay Bradley Mumford and Robert T. Mumford.
Craig grew up in Roy and graduated from Roy High School. He later moved to West Ogden.
He enjoyed his career as a heavy equipment operator. He was very knowledgeable and talented at his job.
Craig had two passions in life; hunting was his first, waterfowl was his favorite. He never missed a weekend during the season. He enjoyed taking his friends and guests out every chance he got to hunt for geese. His second passion was farming. He was happiest when he was working on the farm with his livestock and his best “4 legged” friend, Rosco, by his side, hauling hay and building fences.
He is survived by his parents: Bob and Kay Mumford, his daughter Kaylie Rowe, six brothers and four sisters. He was preceded in death by two sets of grandparents and a brother.
Friends may visit with family on Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
Craig had many friends whom he loved dearly and if you were lucky enough to be called his friend you soon knew that he had the biggest heart of gold. He will be deeply missed by all.
Rest in Peace Craig and you will be flying with the geese soon, per your request.
