Robert Frederick Pine

LAYTON – Robert Frederick Pine, 78, passed away June 24, 2014. He was born February 12, 1937 in Boston, MA to Frederick Stephen and Florence Louise Giles Pine. He married Toshi Yoshino in 1954. She passed away in 1978.  He married Barbara Jeppsen on September 2, 1980.

He retired from the U. S. Air Force as a Master Sargeant after 21 years, worked at Hill Air Force Base and retired after 33 years.

Robert was a member of the St. Peters Episcopal Church.

He loved mountain man rendezvous, shooting guns, camping, fishing and hunting.

Surviving are his wife Barbara, sons, Gary (Anna) Vail, Ogden; Marv (Regina) Vail, Layton; daughters, Judi (Cary) Isaacson, Layton; Sharon (Larry) Gallegos, North Ogden; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and brother Kenneth Pine, So. California.  Also surviving are his two loving sisters, Sandi Kirk and Arlene Lindner, both of Boston, Massachusetts.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Bob’s wishes were to be cremated.  There will be private family services held.
