Robert Richard Reitzel, Sr

Robert Richard Reitzel, Sr., 75, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at his home.

He was born January 18, 1934 in Haxtun, Colorado to Richard Ruben and Zola May Davis.

Robert married Gladys Kent, and they later divorced. He married Willie Hutchinson Robbins, and they later divorced. He married Kathy Rowley Henderson, and they later divorced.

He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

He was a member of the First Methodist Ogden Church.

Robert retired from Hill Air Force Base and Wonder Bread.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, bowling and going to coffee. On Friday nights, he enjoyed watching Sport Fight.

Robert is survived by four sons, Ricky Lee Kent, Michael Wayne Reitzel, Ronald Richard (Peggy) Reitzel, Robert Richard (Crystal) Reitzel, Jr; a daughter, Zola M. (Russell) Versemann; 13 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Zola Mae Kennedy.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Francis L. McCarly, his parents, a brother, Ira Lynn Reitzel and a sister, Wanda Kerney Grona.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

Friends and family may call Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Syracuse Cemetery.
