Robert Sharp

Robert D. Sharp “Bob” 10/21/1929 ~ 12/4/2013 “This world is not my home, I’m just passing through”, Bob passed away peacefully on December 4, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was born on October 21, 1929 in Decatur, Illinois. He loved the outdoors, farming, hunting, fishing, and camping. He served in the US Military. He married his wife, Hennie on November 8, 1959. Together they had four children. Bob is survived by his wife, Hennie; his children, Linda (Larry) Jex, Lori Sharp, Lisa (Ellis) Caraway, and Brian Sharp. Also nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and numerous bonus grandkids as well, younger brother, Don; and his sister, Waverly; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. A special thanks to Dad’s caregivers, Dr. Chris Merkley, Dr. Jerry John, Mt. Ogden Care Center, and Symbii, especially Alyx.
