Roberta Joan Reinsch passed away on November 15, 2013 of complications of Pancreatic Cancer. The Daughter of Maria Onesima (Maez) and Joe Severo Vigil, she was born on August 27, 1952 in Ogden, Utah. Roberta had most currently resided in Sunset, Utah but had lived in other states during her lifetime. She was a member of the Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Layton, Utah.
Roberta attended local schools in Layton through her childhood and graduated from Boron High School, Boron California. She had also attended Weber State University, in Ogden Utah.
She married Richard Paul Babb in September, 1970 in California, and they were later divorced they had one child. Roberta married Jeffery William Reinsch on March 24, 1990 and they had one child.
Roberta worked as an Electronics Technician at Iomega for 16 years, and was a partner in a company called Contra-Fab which was a successful business for many years. Most recently Roberta worked at Smith''s Food and Drug in Sunset, Utah and had been employed there for 5 years.
Roberta was a very kind and loving person who gave her love and kindness to all others readily and enthusiastically. She made generous contributions to her Church in support of ongoing needs as well as the construction of the newly added education facilities at Saint Rose of Lima Church.
She was a beloved Daughter, Sister, Mother and Grandmother Roberta loved all her family dearly. She always offered a warm smile and she shared her smiles with friends and family alike. Roberta was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffery William Reinsch and Father, Joe Severo Vigil.
She is survived by her children: Gina (Babb) Montano, Jeffrey Reinsch, and Ethan William (Monique) Reinsch, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, Mother, Maria Onesima (Maez) Vigil, Sisters: Delia Marie Appleby (Todd Reiva,) Theresa Louise Bareihs (Deiter.) Brothers: Joseph James Vigil (Petra,) Andrew Daniel Vigil (Debbie,) Darrell Jerry Vigil (Kelly.)
Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 So. Chapel St., Layton, UT. Friends may visit family at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd on Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton.
The family would like to thank the many people that have served and shown kindness to Roberta during her life and especially during her time of illness. A special thanks to her nurses and staff of McKay Dee Hospital "Oncology" that have shown such great care.
